Sheffield and Lentine, P.C. would like to congratulate partner Wendell Sheffield on a tremendous defense of his client facing a potential death penalty sentence. After over two weeks of trial the firm’s client could be sentenced to either life without the possibility of parole or the death penalty. Mr. Sheffield presented an incredible mitigation defense that resulted in the jury deliberating less than 15 minutes and returning a verdict for life without parole rather than death.
