Sheffield and Lentine, P.C. Criminal Defense Attorneys Honored at Death Penalty Seminar

Wendell Sheffield, John Lentine, and Christopher Daniel were each honored by the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association at this years Death Penalty seminar. The seminar known as “Loosening the Death Belt” is held annually by the ACDLA and is designed to teach the ins and outs of defending a client charged with the highest crime in Alabama. Experienced attorneys from all over the country teach on topics such as jury selection and cross-examination.

This year Wendell Sheffield and Christopher Daniel each received the President’s Award and the Merit Award for their contributions to the practice of criminal defense in Alabama. John Lentine was also awarded the President’s Award. The President’s Award is given each year by the outgoing President of the ACDLA to attorneys that championed the mission of the ACDLA to teach and inspire criminal defense attorneys around the state of Alabama.
