On the 26th of July, 2016 criminal defense attorney Wendell Sheffield, a partner at Sheffield and Lentine, resolved his client’s charges for a sentence of life without parole.
The firm’s client was charged with multiple felony offenses including kidnapping, rape, assault, and capital murder. The client was facing the death penalty.
Over a year’s worth of work was put into the case by Wendell Sheffield. The client resolved his cases by pleading to only one count and having all other charges dismissed. The client will no longer face the death penalty.
Congratulations to Wendell Sheffield for doing such an excellent job for his client and sparing another Alabama defendant from the death penalty.
