Charges against a former St. Clair County teacher that she violated Alabama sex offender notification laws have been dismissed by prosecutors.

The charges against the firm’s client were dismissed by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office at a Wednesday morning hearing before Jefferson County District Court Judge Katrina Ross.

The client was charged in May with violation of two sex offender notification laws by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, one claiming that she accepted or maintained employment within 2,000 feet of a school or child care facility and the other that she failed to report her new employment to authorities.

These charges were unfounded and dismissed thanks to the great work of John Lentine.
