Birmingham, AL: November 2017, Christopher H. Daniel was voted as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers while John A. Lentine was named one of the Top 50 lawyers in the state of Alabama. This is the fifth consecutive year both have been on the Super Lawyer’s list of the Top 50 Lawyers in Alabama.
Lentine has been selected to Super Lawyers since 2008. He is a criminal defense lawyer in Birmingham, Alabama and has been in private practice for nearly 30 years. John practices all types of criminal defense work in the state of Alabama and in the Federal criminal justice system. John’s career is dedicated to representing those who are accused and who need help. While his practice is exclusively criminal defense, his firm handles personal injury, domestic relations, family law, and probate matters. He has had the honor of teaching at the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia since 1998, the Cumberland School of Law since the early 90’s and the Birmingham School of Law since 2004. Lentine has also had the pleasure of teaching continuing legal education programs devoted to criminal defense work across the United States.
Daniel is a Criminal Defense Attorney practicing Criminal Defense (80%) and Appellate (20%) since 2011. He has been part of the Super Lawyer group since 2015 and is a lifelong resident of Birmingham. Daniel attended Birmingham-Southern College where he received his degree in English. During his time at Birmingham-Southern, he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, and he received the Robert Hewlin Jackson Award for Scholastic Achievement. After graduating from college, Daniel attended Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and graduated in 2011. During his time at Cumberland, Daniel was a Senior Member of the Trial Advocacy Board and was fortunate to be honored as a member of the Dean’s List, win numerous Dispute Resolution competitions, and received multiple Scholar of Merit Awards for Scholastic Achievement.
Daniel originally clerked for Sheffield and Lentine, P.C. during his time in law school and joined the firm upon graduation. His practice focuses primarily on Criminal Defense litigation and Appellate work. Daniel also practices Domestic Relations Law and Family Law.
